Board of Directors Meetings – Summary of Key Decisions

The following summarizes the most important resolutions adopted during recent meetings of the Board of Directors of the Iranian Association of Medical Physicists (IAMP):
- Dr. Hashemi Malayeri was appointed as the official representative of the Association to attend the WC2009 Congress of the Middle East.
- It was resolved that the Iranian Congress of Medical Physics will continue to be held in Ordibehesht 1389 (May 2010).
- Dr. Bahreini was accepted as a member of the Scientific Committee of MEFOMP.
- Dr. Monfared, Dr. Hashemi Malayeri, and Dr. Mosleh Shirazi were appointed as members of the Publications Committee of MEFOMP.
- The first meeting of the Radiotherapy Committee was held on October 30, 2009 (8/8/1388 SH). It was agreed that all medical physicists working in radiotherapy departments and members of the Association will constitute the Radiotherapy Committee.
- Dr. Hossein Mezdarani was designated as the official representative of IAMP to serve on the Council of MEFOMP.
